My Little Dancer

Kennedy started dance class. It was so cute to watch her. We have been doing baseball and basketball and soccer for so long that I am just so excited to start doing the girly stuff. Don't get me wrong I love the sports that the boys do, and we will definately be doing it for quite a few more years. But I am so glad that I got one girl! She was so excited to go to dance and she looked so cute dancing around with all the little girls. It's going to be fun! Pait got to go to Disneyland with grandma, grandpa, and the rest of the family over the weekend, he had lots of fun. Connor is just being a good little baby as usual and Ayden is starting soccer this Saturday. I think he will be real good at soccer especially because he can run fast. He can out run me anyway! Jay is doing good, just keeping busy at work, and I start bootcamp Monday so I am excited to get going with that again. We are all just staying busy. We love you all!

First Day of School

Well I thought it was hard to send Pait off to kindergarten. I spent the day crying and all emotional because he was wasn't my baby anymore, but that day six years ago doesn't even compare to how hard it was to let him go to Junior High today. It really hit me a couple of weeks ago when it all sunk in that he was going to this school with all these older kids that probably aren't as innocent as all the elementary kids. Even though Bob Miller is the best Junior High School in the district, I am still having a hard time letting him go. Pait is a really good kid and all I can do is trust that he will make good choices. I have told him over and over to choose your friends wisely, speaking from experience I know how much of an influence friends can have at this age. Anyway he had an awesome first day of school. He must of sensed my worry because he called me on lunch to tell me how his day was going so far. Despite the fact he got trampled in the hall, dropped his PE clothes, lost his deodorant, and got his finger slammed in the locker underneth his, he says it's "awesome" and he can't wait to go back tomorrow. I am excited for these new experiences for Pait and i'm sure he'll teach me a lot along the way.

Just say mama...please!

Ok I have to say I am a little upset at Connor. All day long I try to get him to say mama and he just won't. Well I was bathing Ayden and Connor tonight and he looked at Ayden and said "A". well I wasn't sure if I heard him right so I started saying "A" to see if he would say it again and he said it, like five more times. It doesn't seem like it should be such a big deal that he said "A" but since thats what we call Ayden. I know that he was referring to Ayden when he said it. So all night I have been trying to get him to just say mama once, but he won't. I don't know, maybe he won't say it because I bug him about it all day long. Who knows.

Busy Week!

It has been a busy last couple of days. Liam, Sharlise, and Narissa came and stayed with us last Thursday to Saturday. Kennedy and Ayden had a lot of fun playing with their cousins. Also Grandma and Grandpa McEwen and Cori and Shane and their family came Friday and stayed for the weekend. We had fun with the family the kids love having everybody here. Pait is busy getting ready to start Junior High, he has had fun doing the summer institute program. He got his schedule and locker and all that fun stuff. We just got back from preschool orientation for Ayden and Kennedy. It was just a one hour thing that the parents attended too. I just love watching my kids and how they interact with the teachers and other kids. When the teacher asked questions it was funny to see ayden raise his hand and answer the question and Kennedy would just yell out her answer, but it's still cute. I just need to teach her how to raise her hand and tone down her voice a little bit and she'll be good. But anyway they are good kids and pre school will be fun. We did a little summer fun session and Kennedy and Ayden were in the same class and everytime I picked them up Ayden would tell everything kennedy did and I guess she got time out a lot. But Kennedy didn't really care she just told me she got time out because she talked or whatever. But one day Kennedy got in the car and told me that Ayden got time out that day, and little A was so upset about it he said that he cried when he was put in time out. They are just so different in personalities. I love it though. I guess what i was trying to get to is that they are now in different classes, which will be a lot better for them. They need a break from each other. Connor has come down with a little cough, he is just in the early stages of it so I hope it doesn't get too bad. I have just been giving him more breathing treatments, than I normally would. We just have to take these colds one day at a time. With his chronic lung disease he is just more suceptible than most kids. Well I better get back to the kids. Love you all.

It's good to be back into blogging!

Wow it has been a long time since I have updated. I am excited about starting the new Manning family blog. Baby Connor Jack will still have his blog for all of his exciting milestones and precious moments. But as for the family we are all doing good. Jay is working a lot as usual just trying to keep up with all of the demands of running the business. But he spends all of his free time with the family. Connor sure does get excited when daddy comes home. He started saying dada just a couple of days ago. Jay was kind of making a big deal that he said dada first and not mama. So I told him that it is just easier for him to pronounciate dad rather than mom and of course Jay didn't agree with me. So anyway I just googled it and I was right. Kind of funny! As for me I just spend most of my time at home with the kids. Although I have taken up a new interest in running and I am starting my 12 week training to run the half marathon in December. So far Neiko Shell and Cori are in if anybody else wants in let me know. 13.1 miles by the way! Pait is getting ready to start Junior High. Pretty crazy! He is just busy staying active as usual. A lot of Skateboarding, Fall baseball coming up and just hanging out with friends and family. Quinn was just here in vegas last week, we had a fun celebrating his 9th birthday at the Richfield demolition derby. The boys loved it! Ayden is busy challenging every boy at a running race. It's funny because I took the kids to the park a couple times last week and everytime we went he raced every kid there. He always won too! Oh and asking questions too, he wants to know the answer to everything. He's Just curious I guess. Kennedy is busy talking, all the time. A friend took her for a walk to the end of the street and came back and said "does she ever stop talking". She is sweet. And little Connor Jack just smiles all day long, he's a little charmer! Everything is good good, and everybody is healthy and that's all that matters. Well time to get the kids to bed. We love you all!
